Kids Crafty Candle Creations Workshop

Join us in our inspiring creative space in St Peters, where your child will learn the art of candle making and homeware creation by crafting their own marbled candle container and hand-pouring a signature scented candle to fill it. Using our eco-friendly and kid-safe acrylic resin and soy wax, they will have the freedom to create a truly unique and bespoke homeware piece to take home with them.Guided by our experienced instructors, your child will enjoy a hands-on experience in a fun and stress-free environment.

• Kids will colour, mix, and pour Jesmonite acrylic resin into our purpose-made silicone molds to create a personalised marbled container.
• They will select and infuse soy wax with a seasonal fragrance for their candle.
• Enjoy meeting new friends and sharing stories in a creative and welcoming environment.

The colour possibilities and combinations are limited only by their imagination, and we will be there to help with every step. Acrylic resin is an eco-friendly and durable material that sets quickly, ensuring their unique homeware piece is set and ready by the end of our workshop.*For the parents who don't like to miss out, we have added a special 3 hour weekend session of this workshop. Come with your child and work together to create your candle container and candle (all other details are the same)Kids can take their container home the same day but will need to return to collect the candle the following day or at another suitable time.Our space is secure and not open to people who have not booked into a workshop. All teachers have a valid Working with Children Check that can be shown upon request.Parents need to drop off children in person and complete the admission and release form that will indemnify Made by Me Workshop from any claims or liability related to any accidents that occur while participating in any of our kids' workshops.We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, so in our workshops, your child will have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy learning some new skills away from their screens. Kids will learn new skills they can apply to future fun projects outside of class. Class sizes are always kept small so that they enjoy hands-on assistance while they learn and create.Sadly, we cannot accept Creative Kids Vouchers at this time.Cancellation policy:Due to the limited number of spaces in our workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non-refundable. You can reschedule your class with up to 7 days notice. Bookings that are rescheduled with less than 7 days notice will incur a $50 rescheduling fee, rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation without the possibility of a refund. If future workshop dates or times are not suitable, you can use the value of your booking toward another workshop but we ask that you rebook within 6 months of your original booking. You are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. We reserve the right to cancel classes if minimum numbers are not met in which case we will offer to reschedule or a full refund. Please note it is not our intention to cancel any school holiday workshops as we know if can be difficult to find alternative care at short notice (please tell your friends!)

This is a beginner-friendly workshop with no previous experience or skills required.
  We will provide everything you need to create your candled container, including full use of our tools and equipment and a curated selection of fragrances to scent your candle.
  BYO lunch, snacks, and water bottle. Everything else they need will be provided, including an apron to wear during the workshop - please wear clothes that are okay to get messy.
