What you'll do
On the search for fun things to do in Sydney for kids? If your child is aged 7 to 16 years old get them to make their own clay creature at this unique pottery class! Adults can join in too as a separate booking.In this 2-hour class, students will be guided in clay handbuilding and painting with underglazes to create a unique piece to treasure.As well as having fun, children will learn handbuilding skills with clay, which will help develop their fine motor skills and hand-to-eye coordination while expressing themselves artistically and having a great time doing it.After the session, two creations will be dried and bisque-fired, ready to pick up 3 to 4 weeks later. If they want to keep more than two pieces, there will be a $10 per piece fee. Final pieces will be food, microwave & dishwasher safe.You can use your $50 Creative Kids Voucher for a spot in this class. Please book the spot, paying the full class price. Then, email us with your child’s Creative Kids Voucher with QR code included.Once your voucher is processed, you will be refunded $50 per spot.

What you'll get
Students will create two unique pieces with clay and then paint their pieces with underglazes. Once the pieces are fully dry, they will be bisque fired, then clear glazed and fired again to 1260 degrees. This makes the pieces waterproof and food safe.If kids want to make more than two pieces, there will be a $10 per piece fee.

An old shirt or cloth apron and closed-in shoes.
