Weaving is a craft that is so accessible to everyone. It would be hard for you not to find something you like about it as it can be used in a number of different ways! With weaving, there are so many styles of textiles that you can create like baskets, wall hangings, rugs, and blankets. The possibilities when it comes to weaving are endless. Once you have learnt all about weaving from our expert weavers in Canberra, we know that you’ll be hooked and creating all sorts of new projects soon after your class has finished!
This fun indoor activity is a great experience gift for anyone you know who struggles to focus on one thing for too long. You’ll need to keep both of your hands busy whilst watching what you’re doing to make sure the pattern you are creating comes out just right. DIY weaving is a fun hobby that anyone can take part in, as you only need the most basic of materials to get started. A loom, some yarn and a pair of scissors are all you’ll need to continue this calming activity from home. In our Canberra workshops, you will start with nothing but a piece of wire and finish with something beautiful!
