Discover the relaxing technique of glass painting and make your very own exciting and unique hand-painted suncatcher that you'll be proud to hang in your home with this online class and kit!
This virtual workshop runs for three hours, providing enough time to show you different techniques and get to a point where you will feel comfortable on your own playing around with colours. You will also have ample to ask questions in real-time throughout the class.
The best thing about doing this class online is that:
  • You can finish your artwork at your own pace, with no hurry and stress if it takes you a bit longer (and trust us, it can take longer when it comes to choosing colours).
  • You still will have some materials left that you can use to create another masterpiece!
The materials in the box will be enough for two to three projects. And the best thing is that you can try this type of creativity out without spending a fortune on buying all materials yourself - you will get 100 per cent exactly what you need!
From these classes, you will learn EVERYTHING you need to master the technique of glass painting and create your own unique Suncatcher.
You'll learn:
  • What glass painting is
  • What materials you need for this technique (so that you always will be able to buy what you need yourself)
  • Get full instructions and a demonstration on using the outliner and an exercise on practising this skill
  • How to choose colours for your works so that they look harmonious
  • How to work with glass paints
  • How to mix glass paints and create your first project
  • How to take care of painted products
  • Will be ready with your new skills to create more beautiful works for yourself and for your friends!
You'll get access to a private Facebook group, where you can ask any questions about glass painting, receive feedback from your teacher, communicate with other creative people and share your results.
Please contact your teacher for International shipping details. The price will vary.
If you are pregnant or would like to create with kids you will need to use water-based paints. Please contact your teacher for more information.

Stunning stained glass and ceramic painting

4.9 (57)
2k

I am a ceramic and glass artist who originally hails from Russia but over 5 years ago moved to Australia and now based in Tweed Heads, North NSW. I graduated from art school in my youth, but applied myself to the field of economics before returning to my roots with a course in Interior Decoration in the International Design School in Moscow in 2014 after 10 years of auditing.
To quit my job was a big desicion but now I can say - the best in my life. My family used to say that hobby can't be your full time job, but I disagreed.
I specialise in glass and ceramic painting, having started the former in 2013 in Moscow. I learned glass and ceramic painting by myself, step by step, year by year. And still learning: learning new techniques, new materials, new surfaces...
Constantly developing my work, I am currently in a period of transition and evolving from my previous style. I found contemporary art interesting to me and decided to use my mediums to create some pieces of art in another way.
If you are the one who loves stained glass painting, painted ceramic tiles or plates, fluid art...if you want to learn how to do it yoursellf, you are more than welcome to my workshops! I will tell you everything that I know.
