Christmas Felt Angels Workshop

Join us in our inspiring St Peters workshop and learn the art of wet felting with esteemed textile artist Pauline Franklyn, who will be visiting all the way from Perth. In this class, you will discover the fascinating technique of resist wet felting. With Pauline's expert guidance, you'll have the chance to expand your creative skills and create a seamless 3-dimensional Angel using wool fleece and a template and apply lace using the Nuno method for added details and texture.Don't worry if you're a beginner - this class is designed to make you feel comfortable and confident. Pauline will supply everything you need, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience.Throughout the workshop, you'll learn the step-by-step process of wet felting, as well as creating a solid felt ball onto which you will embroider the Angel’s adorable face. To add the finishing touch, you'll use lace for the wings to add detail to your beautiful Christmas Angel.Not only will you learn new skills and expand your creativity, but you'll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow crafters in a welcoming and supportive environment.During the class, we'll also serve a lovely morning tea or coffee to keep you energized and inspired.By the end of this workshop, you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the art of wet felting and a one-of-a-kind Angel to cherish.Please note:
