What you'll do
Looking for something cosy to do in Sydney? Sink your hands into soft clay and discover the mindful therapeutic benefits of wheel throwing at Print Paint Pot. Sydney's most romantic pottery studio! Our two-hour pottery wheel classes are great value and ideal for folks with zero experience who want to try the wheel to see if they like it before taking on a four-week course! to learn all the tricks. We provide aprons and your creations after firing will be microwave, dishwasher and food safe.The wheel can be a tricky one to learn so you're unlikely to master it in just a single session - But we do provide unlimited balls of clay for unlimited attempts. Because the more you do the better you get.This two hour session is an ideal amount of time to learn the foundations of stoneware ceramics and wheel throwing, it includes approximately 15 minutes of studio introduction explaining the pottery process and wheel demonstration, 90 minutes of wheel time and 15 for cleaning up your wheel and photo opportunities at the end of your class.Tickets are sold as a pair and cannot be purchased individually. It all started when husband and wife duo Elgan and Zena watched the movie Ghost and soon after purchased a pottery wheel where we spent years practicing on our balcony at our apartment in Artarmon. We are now thrilled to pay homage to our start with our Date Night pottery classes and offering a range of classes and courses for anyone clay curious. Print Paint Pot have 2 pottery studios on Dickson Avenue in Artarmon. The Green Studio where we host our popular Clay and Sip and Date Night wheel throwing classes and our new Pink Studio specialising in hand building and wheel throwing for large group events like hens parties, girls night and team building. We are so thankful to all the guests who have attended a class with us at Print Paint Pot.
