You've just found the best pregnancy class! This class is directed towards mums-to-be and the sooner you start, the faster the benefits are reaped for you and your baby. However, it's never too late to start even when you are in the last month of your trimester.
In this pregnancy class in Melbourne, you will be guided in how you can take better care of yourself and the foetus during the pregnancy period so you can have an easier birth process to a healthy baby.
During the class we will focus on:
  • Gentle exercises to relieve stress and anxiety;
  • Breathing techniques that assist in the brain and organ development of the foetus;
  • Stretching exercises to relieve back pain and encourage confident baby delivery;
  • Learn how to strengthen and nurture 'the baby bond' in order to actively participate in a healthier baby growth throughout your entire pregnancy.
These gentle exercises are easy to follow and all level of fitness are welcome, from beginners to advanced.
Enjoy French music therapy while in class, as this is proven to help you to go into a deeper state of relaxation helping your muscles to 'do what they are supposed to do', with minimal effort which in turns benefits your baby-foetus too.
All classes are held in English, though being a French woman, you will enjoy the beautiful French accent that Christina has. You are guaranteed to smile during the classes when she occasionally uses French words!
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your first class, so that Christina can plan and personalise the class to your needs and harmonise the group.

What you'll get
As a bonus, you are welcome to ask any questions or receive guidance from Christina after class (Christina has much experience in the pregnancy and postpartum area while working in France as a physiotherapist specialising in women's health).
 
What to bring
  • Wear something you are comfortable in. You will be barefoot on the yoga mat.
  • Water bottle + yoga mat + small pillow (to support your back/neck/head).

I have spent my entire life in pursuit of understanding how to best train, protect, restore, and improve the female body and mind throughout all stages of life. The programs that I teach are a holistic, multi-disciplinary, and unique approach to female fitness.

My passion is to help women during their health, fitness and wellness journey. If you are questioning whether I am qualified here is a shortlist of my qualifications: I'm a former French physiotherapist, certified Australian Personal Trainer, Body Contouring Specialist, Wellness Educator and Life Coach, International Speaker, Women’s Health &Wellness Specialist ....and a mother of 2 beautiful adult daughters. (I know that was a mouthful!)

This is the best way to ensure you are not taking any risk of injury, especially during pregnancy and after childbirth, and also around menopause in which cases your body has weakened.
During our woman’s life, we experience different phases of wellness and self-confidence related to our body and hormonal changes.
I have experienced these 3 important stages in my life: two pregnancies, the recoveries after childbirth and now the menopause. So I know exactly what I teach not only as a professional but also as a woman who had some women’s health concerns.
