Bettina offers a unique therapeutic approach to pottery, drawing on her psychology background (PhD) and sensorimotor art therapy training. Her 'Wheelfuness' approach incorporates somatic mindfulness to enhance presence and stillness at the spinning wheel.
Bettina's pottery journey began as a hobby in 2015. As an academic with a busy mind, she found the tactile nature of working with clay very relaxing. In 2019, she opened her own studio and has since enjoyed helping others discover the zen of pottery.
To further explore the therapeutic benefits of working with clay, Bettina recently undertook training in Clay Field Therapy® and now also offers somatic clay therapy sessions.
