What you'll do
Discover the art of terrazzo in our hands-on Terrazzo Homewares workshop! At Made by Me Workshop, we believe in offering a truly unique and creative experience, and our terrazzo class is designed to stand out. Unlike other workshops, we empower you to create your own terrazzo chips in any colour you can imagine, ensuring your pieces are as unique as your imagination.What You Will Create:Choose from a variety of shapes to make your own customised terrazzo homeware item:
- Terrazzo Pot
- Oval Tray
- Round Tray
- Pair of Square Coasters
- Custom Colour Mixing: Learn how to mix and add colours to Jesmonite, creating a personalised colour palette. We’ll provide plenty of colour inspiration!
- Handmade Terrazzo Chips: Create your own coloured chips (maximum of three colours) to add a personal touch to your terrazzo mix. You’ll also have access to our stock of pre-made chips in various colours.
- Casting Techniques: Cast your materials into silicone moulds for your chosen shape.
- Finishing Touches: Once your piece is cured, we’ll guide you through sanding and sealing. You’ll even take home all the sandpaper you need to perfect your piece.
- Inspiring Space: Our workshop takes place in a beautifully styled and spacious warehouse in St Peters. The environment is creative and inspiring, with plenty of room for you to spread out and enjoy the process. Everyone who visits loves the space and often comments on its beauty and atmosphere.
- Personalised Experience: Our class sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on assistance and a personalised experience.
- Quality Materials: Jesmonite is a high-quality, eco-friendly material that is solvent-free and has no VOCs.

- Relaxed Pace: Unlike shorter, rushed classes, our 3-hour workshop allows you to enjoy the experience, ask questions, and truly immerse yourself in the creative process.
- Duration: 3 hours
- Cost: $95 for smaller items, $120 for larger items. If you choose to make more than one piece, you’ll need to use the same colour chips due to time constraints or choose other colours from our stock of pre-made chips in various colours.
- Safety: Jesmonite is considered safe by most experts, but we recommend pregnant women check with their healthcare professional before working with any chemicals.
