Do you love quiet hour at the supermarket?
Are you an adult living with sensory overload?
I'm your tutor Deb, and I live with Multiple Sclerosis. I get tired easily and find bright lights, loud music, and crowds of people exhausting.
I'd love you to join me in my studio in Jannali where we will work in ambient lighting, in small class sizes, to help minimise the impact on our senses while learning a new skill.
Discover the art of no-carve block printing and breathe new life into your wardrobe.
In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to use everyday household items and textile inks to create unique, vibrant prints on fabric.
Whether you're looking to cover stains, update old clothing, or craft fun, wearable art, this class offers a sustainable solution—because the most eco-friendly garment is the one you already own.
Join me and transform your clothes into one-of-a-kind masterpieces while supporting a greener planet.
You can choose to bring a garment to work on, or you might like to use one of our high-quality linen tea towels.
If you are an NDIS participant, you might like to check with your Plan Manager to see whether the cost of the workshop might be covered under your plan.

Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker from Stalia Design.
Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.
A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!
Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creative spark and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.
Workshops are run in our private space in Jannali and I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building.
I look forward to helping you create your very own masterpiece.
