What you'll do
Kids will have a great experience making a mosaic and taking their creations home. Perfect for school holiday activities, casual drop-in sessions and birthday parties for kids!This is a fun, creative and hands-on experience for children seven years and older where participants create a mosaic from beginning to end and take it home. Making a mosaic is a very therapeutic, relaxing, creative and fun activity. Kids begin by choosing a template from many gorgeous choices (eg. pineapples, unicorns, lamas, cacti, cupcakes, ice-creams, cats, letters of the alphabet and many many more).Then they choose from a large selection of beautiful coloured tiles and beads; they learn to cut their tiles and then stick them onto their template in a design of their choice. Lastly, they grout their piece and take it home.All participants are fully supported and we provide assistance and advice to ensure that everyone creates a mosaic that they are proud of.Making a mosaic is a calming and mindful experience. This, together with being creative, social and relaxing, makes it a unique experience where kids are happy to leave their technology at home and enjoy the moment.Please note: The workshop includes one template to mosaic.

Knowledge required
Mostly suitable for kids aged seven years and above. Six-year-olds may make a mosaic but they will not be able to cut their own tiles so a parent should stay at the beginning to help. Alternatively, they can make a bead mosaic without parent supervision.
What you'll get
You will learn how to make a mosaic from beginning to complete and will take your beautiful mosaic home. The experience is very satisfying and is a big feature in itself.
What to bring
- No need to bring anything, just come and have some creative fun!
- You can bring a snack if you like.
- Wear casual clothing and closed shoes.
- If you want to wear safety glasses or your child to wear safety glasses, you can bring your own or purchase them here online.

We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
