My pizza journey started with a passion for Neapolitan-style pizza—its simple yet precise technique. The perfect dough, the balance of flavors, and the smoky wood-fired crust became my obsession. Megan and I turned this passion into a business, launching Ovenly Slice, a mobile pizza catering service in Adelaide.
We focused on perfecting our dough recipe, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and mastering the wood-fired oven. We tested and refined our process, ensuring consistency and quality in every pizza. We aimed to provide an authentic Neapolitan experience at events and markets, offering freshly made pizzas with a perfect balance of crust, sauce, and toppings.
The journey has been both challenging and rewarding. From troubleshooting oven temperatures and dough quality to optimising our prep workflow, we’ve honed our skills and expanded our reach. Ovenly Slice is now a trusted name in Adelaide’s mobile food scene, and we’re excited to continue refining our craft as we grow.
