Next Level Glass Fusing Workshop

If you like the look of these pieces (who doesn't!) and enjoy detail-oriented projects - this workshop is for you. If you have already attended one of our glass fusing workshops, this is a bonus but not a pre-requisite. This is an intensive and hands-on class where you will learn to make something unique and beautiful. We have several choices of design available, all requiring a level of attention to detail for a good outcome. During this class, you will have a quick lesson on the basics. You will then learn how to make the designs in the images, choose one and spend most of your time producing your own unique version of the piece.The size of the pieces can range depending on what mould (shape bowl/plate/vase) you want to use but are limited to 30cm square or smaller, rectangle or circle of similar size, given time to produce and cost of materials. This class is targeted at people with no prior glass fusing experience but you must have an eye for detail. We will teach you everything you need to know to make a good piece. Glass cutting skills is a nice-to-have but not a requirement. You will learn to make a stunning glass piece which you can leave flat, or make into a platter or bowl or even sculpture. Some designs can be made into a vase. These pieces look very upmarket and are perfect for a centrepiece for your own home, a special gift or even a wedding gift.This workshop is slightly more costly because it uses more glass, stringers (very costly) and is a longer workshop. But it is worth it!You will need to leave the piece at our studio to be fired. Our turnaround time is two to three weeks.Note: If you would like to schedule your session during weekdays we are very flexible and can accept as little as one booking during a weekday as we have capacity to work with you even if it is one-on-one. You can request to book in at 10am or at 1.30pm weekdays this way for your session.

This class is targeted at people no glass fusing experience, however an introductory level would be an advantage. Due to the time taken to make the pieces, the teaching will be targeted at what you are making, rather than teaching general information. (If you would prefer more general information, best to attend our Vase/Platter Workshop). You will learn glass cutting skills during the class. Some attention to detail is required for most of the processes.
