Mosaic Party for Kids

A mosaic party is a fun and creative activity where children make and take home a complete mosaic in a creative and arty environment! It's perfect if you're looking for unique kids birthday party ideas in Melbourne.Kids can choose from about 80 templates, like a pineapple, the Eiffel tower, car, cupcake, guitar, soccer ball and many more - making it great for both girls party ideas and boys party ideas. They will choose from a gorgeous array of mosaic glass tiles, learning to cut, stick and grout your piece. Kids don't need any previous mosaic experience. This is an awesome experience for children from seven years plus.Typically the mosaic part of the kids birthday party runs for two hours. You then you have about 20 minutes for the food and celebration. Then in the last 10 minutes, the participants clean the grout off their pieces and polish them up and everyone will take home their creative mosaic.We supply one assistant for every nine children, so for children between seven and eight-years-old, we recommend a couple of parents stay at the beginning to help their children cut their tiles. No knowledge required. Cutting mosaic tiles take some strength and hand-eye coordination. All eight-year-olds will be able to cut tiles, but 7-year-olds need some help.
  This is a really fun party - kids will have a great time and will take a beautiful piece of mosaic work home.
 

• Parent of the birthday child should bring the cake. We also offer food packages. If you choose to bring your own food you will need to bring table cloths, cutlery, plates and everything you need to set the table. If we supply the food, you don't need to bring or do anything. We have a small fridge and freezer which can hold a reasonably sized ice-cream cake or birthday cake. We also have a microwave oven (no oven).
