This session will focus on crafting a cloth-covered case bound book with a flat spine. This form the foundation of your traditional binding skills. Knowledge required
This class is rated Level 1 in our course programme. As such, it is not beginner-friendly.Level 1 courses focus on traditional bookbinding, and form the basic requirement to proceed to other courses in the bindery.This is a technical workshop introducing intermediate bookbinding skills, improving your capability and confidence in using sharp instruments. You will need to have completed our Making Books by Hand 1 or already have some basic bookbinding skills.Being able to follow verbal instructions and visual instructions is expected.Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before booking, as refunds are not permitted for a change of mind.
