Knowledge required
This class is rated Level 1 in our course programme. As such, it is not beginner-friendly.
Level 1 courses focus on traditional bookbinding, and form the basic requirement to proceed to other courses in the bindery.
This is a technical workshop introducing intermediate bookbinding skills, improving your capability and confidence in using sharp instruments. You will need to have completed our Making Books by Hand 1 or already have some basic bookbinding skills.
Being able to follow verbal instructions and visual instructions is expected.
