What you'll do
A glass fusing party is a unique, fun and creative activity where participants make a fused glass flat piece or fused glass dish! Everyone will get to keep their personalised piece, making this a super cool kids birthday party idea in Melbourne.Usually, glass fusing is a more complex and expensive glass art, but we have come up with a design technique that is simple, fun, affordable and produces beautiful results. Glass fusing is an amazing and beautiful process and kids and teens will be delighted with the results. Fusing glass involves taking a base piece of glass and designing a glass design on it. The two layers of glass are then fired in a kiln and the glass can be fired smooth or textured. Participants can also choose to shape their glass design into either a flat plate or a dish. The pieces will be left and fired later and can be picked up in about 10 days after the party.Typically the mosaic part of the kids birthday party runs for two hours. You then you have about 30 minutes for the food and celebration. There is a minimum of nine children for a private party.Food optionsBronze: $12 per child

What you'll get
This is a really fun party - kids will have a great time and will take a beautiful piece of glass fused work home.
What to bring
- Parent of the birthday child should bring the cake. We also offer food packages. If you choose to bring your own food you will need to bring table cloths, cutlery, plates and everything you need to set the table. If we supply the food, you don't need to bring or do anything. We have a small fridge and freezer which can hold a reasonably sized ice-cream cake or birthday cake. We have a microwave oven (no oven).

- If you want to wear safety glasses or your child to wear safety glasses, you can bring your own or purchase them here online.
