What you'll do
Learn how to make a variety of fused glass jewellery pieces at this fun and unique kids glass fusing party in Melbourne! It's perfect if you're looking for unique kids birthday party ideas and great for girls party ideas.Everyone will make up to eight pieces of unique jewellery using a glass fusing technique. Fusing glass involves taking a base piece of glass and designing a glass design on it. The two layers of glass are then fired in a kiln and the glass can be fired smooth or textured.You will learn how to make different designs and shapes, using different types of glass including dichroic glass. The pieces will be left and fired later and can be picked up in about 10 days after the party. You will receive a small tube of glue and some jewellery bails so that you can attach your jewellery bails to your pieces.Typically the jewellery-making part of the kids birthday party runs for two hours. You then you have about 30 minutes for the food and celebration. There is also a minimum of nine children for a private party. Kids are guaranteed to have a fun time making unique jewellery pieces in a cool, arty environment!Food optionsBronze: $12 per child

Knowledge required
No knowledge required. We will teach participants how to fuse glass at the party.
What you'll get
- Up to eight pieces of unique jewellery.
- A small tube of glue and some jewellery bails so that you can attach your jewellery bails to your pieces.
- An awesome and creative party!
What to bring
- Parent of the birthday child should bring the cake. We also offer food packages. If you choose to bring your own food you will need to bring table cloths, cutlery, plates and everything you need to set the table. If we supply the food, you don't need to bring or do anything. We have a small fridge and freezer which can hold a reasonably sized ice-cream cake or birthday cake. We also have a microwave oven (no oven).
- You can bring party decorations if you choose.
- If you want to wear safety glasses or your child to wear safety glasses, you can bring your own or purchase them here online.

We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
