What you'll do
This is an intensive hands-on workshop where you will learn glass fusing skills and knowledge targeted at enabling you to make a stunning coral bowl. In this small class, you will learn the basics of glass fusing which includes techniques like how to cut glass using mosaic cutters, freehand scorers and a glass cutting system. You will then put these techniques into practice and create your own fused glass coral bowl. This workshop is targeted at people with no or limited glass fusing experience. You will learn to make a stunning gift, perfect for weddings, house-warmings or as a centrepiece for your own home.Your bowl will be left at our studio for firing and can be picked up two to three weeks after the workshop.Note: If you would like to schedule your session during weekdays we are very flexible and can accept as little as two bookings during a weekday as we have capacity to work with you even there are just two of you. You can request to book in at 10am or at 1.30pm weekdays this way for your session.

This workshop is targeted at people with no or limited glass fusing experience. It is a nice introduction to glass fusing and you will be delighted with the results.
What you'll get
- Includes all glass and materials for the workshop as well as use of all tools and equipment needed to make your piece.

- Bring a black texter, ruler, pen and pencil.

Merryl’s Mosaics and Glass Studio is a mosaic and glass fusing studio where people of all ages come to experience the wonderful world of glass art. We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
