At Made By Me Workshop, nestled in the heart of St Peters within Sydney's vibrant Inner West, we're thrilled to present our upcoming Easter Egg Decorating Workshop! Join us for a creative and family-friendly experience where you'll learn the art of decorating Easter eggs with artistic flair!

In this session, you'll decorate your own set of six wooden Easter Eggs. These eggs can be a lovely addition to your home decor or a thoughtful gift for someone special. We'll be using the decoupage technique to add layers of color and texture to each egg, giving them a unique and personal touch. To add a special finishing touch, we'll be applying gold leaf to make your creations truly shine. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get creative and make something beautiful for the Easter season!

This workshop is not only a delightful activity for adults but also a fantastic opportunity for families to come together and get creative! Children over the age of 8 are welcome to join in the fun, provided they are accompanied by a participating adult.

Our workshops are as much about creativity as they are about connection, in our space you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself. We pride ourselves on providing quality materials so that you achieve quality outcomes that you are proud to show off to your family and friends. Class sizes are always kept small so that you enjoy hands-on assistance while you learn and create.

We have tea and coffee making facilities and always some treats on hand. Please also feel free to BYO drinks, snacks and friends to ensure your workshop is the best possible day or night out!

Beginner-friendly, whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete novice, this workshop offers something for everyone.

What you'll get

Each participant will have a set of 6 wooden eggs to decorate. We will supply all the materials and tools needed to create a beautiful set of eggs to take home.

What to bring

There is no need to bring a thing, we will provide you with an apron to wear during the workshop - we always recommend dressing comfortably and wearing "sensible" shoes - no need to dress to impress! We have water, tea, coffee and snacks.

Made by Me Workshop is about helping people to connect with their "inner creative" and have some fun while making beautiful things from quality materials in our friendly & vibrant studio space in the heart of the inner west!

Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!

After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.

Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"
