Looking for a fun and creative way for your child to learn about natural skin care? Our DIY Natural Skin Care Workshop is perfect for kids aged 8-12 who love crafting and exploring new ideas. In this hands-on class, they’ll create their own lip balm, customised face mask, and body spray, using safe, natural ingredients.
Your child will explore their creativity while learning the basics of making personalised skin care products. They’ll leave with three unique creations to enjoy at home—all made with love and care.
What Kids Will Learn:
  • How to make a nourishing lip balm with natural ingredients.
  • How to customise and soak a sheet mask with gentle, hydrating mixtures.
  • The basics of blending fragrances for a body spray.

  • All instructors have valid Working with Children Checks.
  • Parents must drop off & pick up children in person and complete a short admission form acknowledging participation and safety guidelines.

  • Tools and supplies needed for customisation and blending.
What to bring
Bring your own lunch, snacks, or any other dietary needs. Due to allergies, we discourage sending foods that contain nuts. Please let us know when you arrive if your child has any medical conditions that we need to be aware of.

Made by Me Workshop is about helping people to connect with their "inner creative" and have some fun while making beautiful things from quality materials in our friendly & vibrant studio space in the heart of the inner west!
Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!
After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.
Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"
