What you will learn:
Working knowledge of the cold process soap making method, - How to safely work with Lye (caustic soda) which is essential to the soap making method, - How to add essential oils and botanicals while preserving their properties, - How to de-mould, cut, store & cure your soap.
The experience of our soap making class in Sydney is not just about creating soap; it's about reigniting your passion for crafting and empowering yourself with new skills.
This class is only available to customers who have previously attended one of our soap making workshops and who have kept their silicone mould to reuse in this class. Because of the use of lye, we do not recommend this class for pregnant women or children under the age of 16 years.

- Your handmade soap loaf that can be cut down to approximately eight to ten bars.
- A beautiful selection of oils, butters, clays, and botanicals to personalise your soap.
You will need to bring back your silicon mould from your first class cleaned and ready to use. You will be taking your soap home with you. It is a good idea to bring a towel to wrap it in and a bag to carry it home - you'll need to keep your loaf snug and warm for 24 hours!
Safety note: Lye is an incredibly strong chemical that requires extreme caution. Because of this, we recommend wearing a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and enclosed shoes. Please don't worry; we will teach you how to handle it safely so you won't have any issues.
