What you'll do
This is a fun and creative party where children make and take home a completed bead mosaic. If you're after fun kids party ideas in Melbourne then this is for you!The birthday girl or boy chooses about 12 designs from our wide range of templates like Hello Kitty, a rainbow, unicorn, teddy bear, cupcake, love heart, Peppa Pig, koala and many more. The kids will come in, select their template, then choose a paint colour and paint their template. After that, they can get creative and have fun choosing their own beads from a gorgeous array of mosaic plastic tiles and glass beads.The party continues with everyone sticking their beads on their own designs and creating their masterpieces to take home with them! This party is perfect if you're looking for birthday ideas for kids because everyone will walk away with their own personalised mosaic.Typically the bead mosaic part of the party runs for one-and-a-half hours. Then you have about 30 minutes for the food and celebration. We also have a minimum of nine children for a private party.Food optionsBronze: $12 per child

No skills or knowledge required. Children can do this activity independently from four years plus.
What you'll get
This is a really fun party - kids will have a great time and will take a beautiful piece of work home.
What to bring
Parent of the birthday child should bring the cake. We offer food packages. If you choose to bring your own food you will need to bring table cloths, cutlery, plates and everything you need to set the table. If we supply the food you don't need to bring or do anything. You can bring party decorations if you choose. We have a small fridge and freezer which can hold a reasonably sized ice-cream cake or birthday cake. We have a microwave oven (no oven).

Merryl’s Mosaics and Glass Studio is a mosaic and glass fusing studio where people of all ages come to experience the wonderful world of glass art. We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
