It is all about the art of play!Paint on dried leaves and make your own simple, heartfelt designs. It's all about having fun and playing.Feel free to also write positive affirmations or kindness quotes on the other side of your painted leaves to create a gift for yourself or for someone else.By the end of the class, you are invited to leave your decorated leaves anonymously in your neighbourhood as acts of kindness, potentially making a significant impact on someone's day.This class is to help overcome loneliness, build connection, create a safe place to play creatively and to help spread kindness in the world.Classes are to be booked prior to 48 hours however if any of the dates/times are not suitable or states unavailable, contact Nathalie to request a custom date/time.

I'm thrilled to have each of you here, ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and spreading love through the beautiful art of leaf painting.Let me share a bit about myself and the inspiration behind this unique class. I was a full-time artist in the vibrant landscapes of Papua New Guinea until the beginning of the Covid era. Facing the end of a 36-year relationship, I decided to return to my hometown of Brisbane. The challenges of navigating both a divorce and the uncertainties of the pandemic left me feeling lonely and sad.Amidst these struggles, I stumbled upon a painted rock during one of my solo bush walks—a simple yet powerful reminder that love and kindness still exist in the world. I wanted to share this positivity, but rocks were scarce. However, nature had provided me with hundreds of leaves, and so began the Art of Kindness.During moments of deep sadness, I began writing uplifting messages and creating simplistic designs on the leaves I collected, and I would anonymously distribute them in my community. The response from my community was overwhelming. People found these heartfelt messages and shared their gratitude on our community Facebook page.The journey continued as I anonymously spread kindness for months, but I couldn't help but wonder: what if more people engaged in these acts of kindness together? That's when the Art of Kindness Leaf Painting Classes were born.This class isn't just about art; it's a workshop designed to reconnect with love, create a safe space to focus on the good things in life, and share kindness with ourselves and others through the magic of creativity. It's a space where you're encouraged to be your authentic self, allowing your love to shine.So, I invite you to join me on this quest from my new base at Currimundi, Sunshine Coast to add love and kindness to the world.
