Learn a new creative hobby that will get you trying new Sunshine Coast activities and join Art Workshops' mindful beginner's pottery wheel workshop! Create ceramic art with your bare hands and fall in love with the meditative wheel throwing process.
In this workshop, you will be guided through the basic steps to creating three hand-thrown pieces by an expert ceramicist. Lose yourself in the process of wheel throwing and make your own unique mugs, bowls and more! Find your inner balance as you sink your hands into some soft clay in a fun and relaxed environment.

Janine Delgos is a Visual Artist who works in 3D and 2D media and has a career in art education spanning 35 years. She has valued networking and supporting community connections for both adults and students and assisting others in making pathways through visual art. She has been a designer and facilitator of workshops and visual arts projects in various media, size and scale.
Janine completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Melbourne State College ( now Melbourne University) in 1984 and has taught extensively in Victoria and Queensland within the Education Department for the last 30 years as a Visual Arts teacher. Now her passion is being channelled into her own studio that offers workshops in ceramics, painting, drawing, watercolours, pastels and printmaking.
