Create a little Christmas magic at our beautiful art workshop in Sydney's Inner West. In this class, you'll discover two very different, yet complementary methods to decorate your own set of 4 Christmas baubles.
First, experience the mesmerizing art of using highly pigmented alcohol inks. Swirl and move the inks to create beautiful layers and magical effects on either the outside or the inside of the glass bauble. No two baubles will be the same, and when lit up with the twinkling lights of your Christmas tree, they will look absolutely stunning.
For a touch of quintessential Christmas sparkle, we'll also teach you how to apply glitter to the inside of your glass baubles. Learn the secrets to achieving a high-quality finish that won't slide off.
Both methods are surprisingly easy to learn, and the baubles dry relatively quickly, so you can take them home on the same day.
Gather your friends for this festive activity and bring some bubbles to make the session even merrier. You can also bring your own nibbles or order in from Uber Eats. We'll provide the glasses, plates, and cutlery, as well as clean up the mess.
This class is not only a lot of fun but also a great alternative to an expensive meal with friends. It's perfect for team building or a group activity. We can accommodate groups of 10 to 30 people in our studio.

What you'll get
  • 4 glass baubles (approximately 8cm diameter). You can add additional baubles for an additional charge of $15 payable on the day (stock permitting).
  • Use of a selection of coloured inks and glitters.
  • We will provide all equipment and aprons for the participants to wear during the workshop.
What to bring
  • Bring your choice of bubbles, wine, or beer to get into the festive spirit. You can order in food or bring your own.
  • It's a good idea to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. If you get ink on your clothes, it will not come out.

Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!
After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.
Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"
