In this exciting and interactive workshop, you will learn how to create a trio of Asian delights that will tantalize your taste buds. Dive into the world of Asian cuisine as you discover the art of making Asian appetisers including Japanese gyozas, Chinese wontons and dumplings and Vietnamese spring rolls.
Perfect for beginners, our experienced instructor will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement. You'll have the opportunity to see, touch and taste a variety of Asian ingredients as you learn how to prepare these delicious dishes.
By the end of the class, you will have gained valuable culinary skills and three mouth-watering dishes to enjoy at home. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and aromas of Asian cuisine in this engaging activity.
Sample menu:
  • Japanese beef or chicken gyozas
  • Chinese pot sticker dumplings and prawn wontons
  • Vietnamese spring rolls two ways with pork, chicken or prawn, vegetarian or seafood fillings
Ingredients:
  • Spices: Chilli, Spring onion, Shallots, Ginger, Chives, pepper, garlic
  • Seasoning and Sauce: Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Hoisin Sauce, Fish Sauce, Chilli Oil, Rice Wine such as Mirin
  • Vegetables: Cabbage, Mushroom (cat ear, shitake, Water Chestnuts, taro, carrot, bean shoots, tofu
  • Meats: Pork, Chicken, Beef
  • Seafood: Fish and/or Prawn for non-meat eater
  • *Plus dumpling skins from scratch
On the day:
Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class. We cannot accommodate or refund those who arrive after the scheduled start time, even if you call ahead.
Notes
  • This class can be catered for vegetarian, vegan, gluten intolerant, or dairy intolerant learners.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking you must do this at least seven days before your class to cancel or reschedule. In the event that you are unwell, we ask that you send someone in your place. The participants who are not unwell will still be expected to attend.


Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

She is returning to the hospitality scene with a Cooking tutoring business specialises in Asian cooking, baking, and patisserie and very passionate about wholesome yet creative dishes that not only tantalise your tastebuds but also pleasing the eyes.
Living with allergies herself, Kate’s recipes can be adapted to be allergy-friendly (such as gluten-free, nut-free, egg-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and vegan).
