I am a passionate and highly skilled textile/visual artist with over 15 years of experience in weaving and art making. I have a master’s degree in woven textile design, and I have been a practicing studio artist since 2005. I have frequently exhibited in Australia and overseas as well as worked on large scale public art and socially engaged art projects. I work from my home studio, and I sell my works at art galleries and on my online shop. I draw inspiration from the wilderness, the human condition, and my Hungarian cultural heritage. I specialise in loom and off-loom weaving with alternative and recycled materials to create 2 and 3 dimensional mixed media artworks. After gaining experience through private tutoring, I now open my home studio for group classes. I’m excited to share my skills and knowledge on how to give the ancient technique of weaving a contemporary application.
