What you'll do

Give your child a creative and engaging woodworking experience with our private in-studio classes in Castle Cove, Sydney. Whether it's a one-on-one session or a small group of friends, our hands-on woodworking classes provide a fun and educational way to learn real carpentry skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Led by our skilled facilitators, children will get to build their own woodworking projects from a selection of thoughtfully designed options, including a toolbox, slide box, or trinket box (2 projects per child). Each project is crafted in Sydney and tailored to be both fun and age-appropriate.

Perfect for kids aged 5 to 12, our private sessions ensure personalised guidance, with all materials provided. Whether you're looking for a unique activity for your child or a small gathering of friends, this exclusive class offers a memorable and rewarding experience.

Please note:

This private workshop package is for a maximum of 20 children. $120 per child for a 2 hour session.

Built By Kidz Activities is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Raymond and Josephine. Raymond is a licensed builder and carpenter who has been honing his craft for over 25 years, and together they are passionate about teaching valuable, practical skills to the next generation. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe setting for children to gain basic carpentry knowledge, refine motor skills, practise problem-solving, and explore their creativity, through kids DIY woodwork activities.

Being parents to three daughters, when we started our business they were all of primary school age, and we tested our DIY woodworking projects with them. They had so much fun and loved the building experience, so knowing our kids loved them, we knew our projects would resonate with other kids as well.

We believe learning should be fun, and have crafted our packages to do just that!
