Felting
In this 3 hour introduction to Wet and Needle Felting Workshop, you will learn the basics of wet felting and then take it a step further to felt on a resist. Then you will be guided in needle felting the finishing details onto your pod, like the cute flower on this vessel.
You will use Merino wool rovings and learn how to compress them together to form a permanent bond that is sustained without any glues but rather using the nature of the wool fibers themselves. You will then be guided on how to mould the shape of your vessel before adding decorative needle felted features to create a unique Felted Pod.
