You will also have the opportunity to take home the candles, home fragrances, beeswax food wraps, and herbal tea blends that you create during the retreat.
Should you wish to spend your me-time in solitude, or together with your partner, or a handful of best friends, we will set you up for a Perfect Private Retreat amidst nature albeit not so far away from Sydney. Immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings of the Australian wilderness as you unwind and rejuvenate during this private retreat. Let the gentle activities guide you towards relaxation and inner peace, allowing you to connect with yourself and your surroundings. Relax, rejuvenate, and restore yourself with this comprehensive retreat which includes various DIY craft experiences, healthy vegetarian meals, mindful meditations, and 2 nights' accommodation in our beautiful Boho Caravan (as seen in pics here).
HOW IT WORKS?
Based on availability, we will set you up at one of the camping sites within 150 km or 1-2 hours' drive from Sydney. Our beautiful Retro Caravan will be ready there, already hooked up to the power and water, and with everything you would need to relax and rejuvenate. We call her Joe.
Joe is a little bit Retro, a little bit Boho, totally adorable, and fully functional. She comes with a retractable awning to make it private and comfy for you outdoors as well where you will be doing your meditations and most of the craft activities. You will be welcomed with your Craft Kits readily available right there in Joe with all the required craft supplies, tools, and printed easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. You will be provided pre-recorded audios/videos as well where appropriate. For meditations too, there will be printed instructions as well as audio recordings. The healthy vegetarian pre-cooked meals low in carb and high in protein (sourced from "My Muscle Chef") will be stacked in Joe's fridge for all the participants to last throughout the retreat. This is your time, and as much as the support will be made available via printed instructions and audio/video recordings or over the phone or via messages, we won't be there hovering over your heads to cause any interruption to your solitude.

You will be living in Joe for 2 nights over a weekend to fully experience this retreat in your preferred way - either by yourself or with your partner or a set of best friends (max 3 people). Joe comes with a double-size bed to comfortably sleep two adults, 4-seat dining table inside it, a full-size wardrobe, a lounge which also acts as a full-length 3rd bed, a fan and a portable aircon, and a kitchen with a sink, fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, and a whole load of cooking appliances like an electric kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, rice cooker, soup maker, etc. Joe comes with lots of windows and a sunroof to allow for fresh air, sunlight, and that perfect view you'll be adoring over a restful weekend.
In case you need to leave early, you are free to take the craft kits along and enjoy the crafts home; however, we recommend you indulge in them while you're living in Joe so as to have the best experience. At the end of the retreat, you simply leave and let us know. We'll drive back to the camping site, pack up everything, unhook Joe, and bring her home.
Experience the uplifting vibrations that nature and craft activities can bring to your well-being. Treat yourself with this retreat to take some time off, or gift it away to your partner or a friend. I have always had that intuitive urge to 'create' something with a purpose: a new vegetarian recipe, a cake that would still be calorie-friendly, a soap that would nourish my skin with essential oils, a paining that would tell a story of my childhood, a candle that would smell divine?
By day, I'm fully immersed in the world of ICT (Information & Communications Technology), helping product teams develop outstanding software applications that enhance user experiences. On occasional weekends or during my moonlight hours, I find immense joy in hosting craft workshop experiences at my charming apartment in Sydney or setting up a retreat for you to connect with yourselves or your loved ones over a craft therapy with my cutie vintage retro caravan somewhere in the Kangaroo Valley or Blue Mountains :)
It's my way of pursuing my passions (thank God I found a way), do what I love (or else no point yea), exercise my entrepreneurial skills (or at least I would think so), stay emotionally healthy (this one is real), meet new people (when Sydney reportedly is world's 3rd worst city to forge new friendships), and do my bit of raising funds for Dementia and promoting mental health. For I believe the new luxuries are truly the experiences, freedom and health.
In my journey of hosting these unique experiences in Sydney together with my partner Bob, we have come across a range of creative people, many of whom discovered things to be a fun hobby and some who have taken it further and started selling stuff online.
Our pursuit of the little joys of life continues as we eagerly anticipate sharing these experiences with you!
