Weaving Workshop: Weave a Wall Hanging

How to weave a wall hanging

4 hours Class size 12 to 20 guests     $140

Jump onboard the craft world’s latest obsession and spend a meditative afternoon learning to weave with one of the industry’s best. Rachel from Wunder Weave will il-loom-inate you in the use of a handcrafted loom and tool kit, outlining the basic steps to prepare a loom and covering terms like weft and warp.

In this four-hour workshop, you’ll try various weaving techniques and knot styles and experiment with colour and texture. The end result: a beautiful, unique wall hanging to take home.
All materials are provided and all questions will be answered. Join other woolly-headed crafties for a yarn and a relaxing afternoon where you’ll watch your creation come to life before your eyes. You’ll come away with the skills and know-how to weave at home. Those living room walls are looking cold and beweft.
