Learn to paint with watercolour in this two-hour workshop, perfect for anyone wanting to establish or grow their painting practice with a group of like-minded people and the support and guidance of artist, Liana Kappelle.

This two-hour session will be filled with demonstrations, experimentation and the ability to play with Liana’s private collection of art supplies. Leave this workshop with your own work of art you’ll be proud to show off!
This workshop will include lessons on properties of watercolour paint, brushwork, texturing techniques, colour mixing and advice on the vast amount of art supplies available out there. Using the various techniques you will be shown during the class you will work from a variety of reference material to create your own unique composition.
Discover a new hobby, meet new people, and discover why watercolour is such a popular and fun medium to work with.
Please note: This class requires at least five students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.

Liana Kappelle is a self-taught artist from New Zealand. She works in many mediums but her passion lies with watercolour. Liana combines watercolour painting with a somewhat alternative medium, coffee! She became solely focused on watercolour (and coffee) three years ago and has since become a resident artist at In.cube8r gallery as well as a constant contributor to many exhibitions and showcases around Melbourne. She has been teaching art workshops for the last six months.
