Looking for unique things to do in Melbourne? Learn how to cook a simple, and delightful vegetarian feast inspired by the king of vegetables, Ottolenghi.
During this vegetarian cooking class, you'll be guided by Relish Mama founder Nellie Kerrison, and shown how to create an outstanding menu where vegetarian dishes are the absolute stars and not just side dishes.
We'll be using seasonal produce, plentiful spices and herbs, and our menu will change according to the seasons and what is on offer. This class involves a little demonstration and also hands-on participation.
A guide to the menu but subject to seasonal change:
  • Mum’s red lentil soup (bonus recipe to enjoy as class commences)
  • Hummus
  • Homemade Warm Pitta bread
  • Cos lettuce salad with herby green dressing
  • Warm carrot mash with brown butter & quick pickle chilli topping
  • Cauliflower cake
  • Spiced Freekah salad with roasted sweet potato and honeyed roasted nuts
  • Green chickpea falafels with herby yoghurt
  • Raw shaved broccoli salad with almonds and pomegranate
  • Middle Eastern inspired dessert
After the cooking, you will be treated to an outstanding Ottolenghi feast.
