2.5 hours Class size 8 to 16 guests     $140

Need to spice things up in the kitchen? Join Brunswick Kitchen's flavourful Turkish cooking class and learn some new easy recipes you can replicate at home.
There is more to Turkish food than kofte, kebab and baklava! Take a deep dive into a cuisine that, like the country, straddles European and Middle-Eastern traditions.
Chef Tracey will give a hands-on demonstration of dishes inspired by the cookbook "Istanbul and Beyond" written by Robyn Eckhard and photographed by David Hagerman.
In this class, you will cook a menu of eggs poached in a tomato and capsicum sauce,   mint and onion borek, grilled beef koftas with chilli sauce, white bean salad and coiled tahini buns.
Spend some screen-free time in the kitchen reconnecting with your creative side and uncovering new ingredients and spices to use in your dishes at this cooking class in Melbourne!

Chef Tracey is a classically trained chef who after many years of working at senior level in the vibrant Melbourne restaurant scene moved to Hanoi to immerse herself in Vietnamese and Asian cuisine. She helped establish KOTO, a grass-roots charity that helps street kids to free themselves from the cycle of poverty through hospitality training.
In April 2008 she opened the Hanoi Cooking Centre, voted one of the best cooking schools in the world by Leisure & Travel magazine.
Now back in her old stamping ground of Brunswick, Tracey looks forward to sharing her love of good food through her cooking classes for keen home cooks, professionals, corporates, kids and teens.
And if you don’t have time to cook call in at Brunswick Kitchen for a chat and a take-home meal.
