What you'll do

Looking for a unique terrarium experience in Sydney these School Holidays? Join Cass for an engaging class where children will learn about ecosystems and create their very own closed-lid tropical terrarium to take home.

Don't worry if your child is new to terrariums---this class is designed to be hands-on and fun for beginners. They'll have a blast creating their mini ecosystem and learning about plants and nature in the process.

Your child will get to build their very own tropical terrarium and understand how different elements in the terrarium work together to create a mini ecosystem.
Your child can learn about ecosystems and how plants and nature work together in this exciting class.

By the end of the experience, your child will not only have a beautiful terrarium to take home but also a newfound knowledge of ecosystems and terrarium care. This activity will not only be creative and educational for your child, but it will also provide them with a unique and special item to cherish.

Knowledge required

Beginner-friendly.
For ages 7-15, an adult is required to stay for the duration of the workshop. You may need to support or assist your child when required during the workshop. The supervising adult is not required to pay.

What you'll get

Glass container with lid and all the materials your kids will need to make their tropical terrarium.
At the end of the class, they'll have a cool terrarium to take home and enjoy for years to come.
We will also provide light refreshments for both kids and parents.

What to bring

This workshop may get a little messy, so please dress your child appropriately or bring an apron.
