I run a perfumery called The Perfume Workshop. We are a multi-generational family of perfumers, and I work alongside them to bring the best of traditional artisan perfumes to fragrance lovers around the world. Our perfumery's origins trace back to our ancestral land, where sacred frankincense and myrrh grow. In recent years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to share the art of perfumery here in Australia. You may have encountered us in a city near you, as The Perfume Workshop travels the country, presenting and crafting perfumes at shows and exhibitions. When I'm not travelling, I live in Melbourne and work in my private studio, mixing and creating oils. Like a curious bee buzzing from flower to flower, I've been fortunate to explore different parts of the world, savoring the scents of each place and learning the art of perfume-making from the very petals that bloom beneath my fingertips.   Here is a brief outline of the workshop structure they will provide:1. Introduction to the Art of Perfumery: Adla will lead an introduction focusing on understanding different perfume families and her personal story with perfume.2. Scent Guessing Game: Participants will engage in a blind test to guess various scents.3. Pre-Perfume Oil Creation: Participants will create their own body oil using nourishing ingredients.4. Personalised Perfume Creation: Participants will receive perfume cards to brainstorm and list ingredients they’d like in their personalised perfume. They will then have the opportunity to visit the perfume bar and start creating their own unique scent. Yourself
