Sustainable Living: Steps to a Plastic Free Home

Discover how to reduce your plastic waste.

1 hour Class size 10 to 30 guests     $20

In this Ted Talk like demonstration, Lottie will take you through how to reduce the amount of plastic in your home.
A staggering 1580kg of plastic enters our oceans every hour. In this talk, Lottie guides the audience through the problem with plastic including information about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Then suggests simple sustainable swaps that can be made in each room of the home.
Starting your journey to a less waste lifestyle is a lot harder than you think. Between knowing what to and not recycle to cutting back on plastics it isn't easy. Lottie helps demystify the issue and how you can make simple swaps that help you live more with less.
This is perfect for beginners and people looking for practical tips on how to improve the sustainability of their own home.
This class is great for private and corporate events. If you have slightly less than 10 people in your group, we can still run the class (it's just that the price per person may be slightly higher). The class can also be held at your venue (in this case the maximum number of guests is 15). Please get in touch for details.

It wasn't until Lottie Dalziel tried to drastically reduce her waste as part of her New Year's resolution in 2018 that she realised how hard it was not only to find environmentally-friendly products but also find credible information around waste.
Banish was born in a bid to help Australian's reduce their waste with the right products and even better information.
Lottie's aim at Banish is to give Australians all of the tools they need to reduce their waste and ecological footprint. Banish is a revolutionary marketplace that not only provides the best eco-friendly products in the industry, it offers consumers all of the support they need to reach their zero-waste goals.
It's time to act now Australia - there's no time to waste.
