Learn the basics of still life watercolour painting from painter, illustrator and printmaker Elizabeth Barnett.
This introductory class is perfect for beginners and will take you through all of the essential skills needed for watercolour painting. Elizabeth will touch on all of the basics including what materials you will need to use, demonstrate how to mix your colours, and help you uncover your own personal painting style. If you're an intermediate painter looking to learn some new skills this is a great chance to experiment with your style.
You'll be given some tips on how to approach painting a still life scene and will go on to reinterpret a set scene using a variety of techniques and colours. This class is all about having fun and finding your own confidence with a brush!

What you'll get
  • All the materials you need including a paint palette, 1 x sable brush, 6 sheets of watercolour paper, 1 x 2b pencil.
  • Information to reference at home post workshop.

What to bring
All materials will be provided but if you have your own preferred painting supplies and sketchbook you are welcome to use them.
