Join Steph Schall in her gorgeous home kitchen in Hawthorn (or yours) as she takes your tastebuds on a boldly delicious journey through South East Asia and all of the plant-based delights!
This class was created from some of Steph's absolute favourite dishes tasted on backpacking adventures through Vietnam, Thailand and Bali in her university days. With no cooking experience required, just come ready to experience some authentic South East Asian cooking.
What you'll cook during the 3hr class:
  • Glazed Maple Chilli Tempeh
  • Vietnamese Tempeh and Avocado Rice Paper Rolls
  • Vietnamese Bahn Xeo (Savoury Pancake)
  • Glazed Mushroom Bahn Mi with Pickled Veg
  • Vietnamese Red and White Cabbage Slaw, Herbs and Vegan Nuoc Cham
  • Thai Pad See Ew (Cashew and Basil Stir-fry)
  • Indonesian Black Rice Pudding with Salted Coconut Cream and Caramelised Banana
This incredible menu is a celebration of bold flavours and simple cooking at its best. You'll also leave feeling confident to recreate these dishes again and again at home!
Please note:
Steph is only running private cooking classes at this time, either two or three hours in duration. The full menu reflects a three-hour class and if you choose a two-hour timeframe we will have to abbreviate the menu to reflect the shorter class time (see corresponding 2 hour class listing).
