This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of designing and crafting your own unique pieces, which you will be proud to take home and wear or gift to loved ones.
Suitable for beginners, our experienced instructor will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the class, ensuring that you feel supported and confident in your abilities.
During the class, you'll be working with sterling silver, a high-quality material that is both durable and beautiful. You'll learn how to shape, solder, file and polish the silver to create stunning rings, earrings, or pendants. Sarah Munnings was working in the corporate world of finance and when she was struck down by a devastating mystery illness. Tests, more tests, and months of trips to doctors led to the diagnoses of Fibromyalgia (a chronic pain condition). This led to Sarah to rediscover her creativity as her own personal form of rehabilitation and become a self-taught jeweller who developed a table top jewellery practice in her kitchen.
She now teaches others the amazing creations that can be made using copper, silver and brass. She uses traditional techniques of forging, soldering and texturing metal, and is passionate about using tools that are easily accessible so that her guests at workshops can continue their journey of discovery at home.
