3 hours Class size 12 to 40 guests     $160

Flower fanatics, this one's for you. Relax, unwind, and create unique, bespoke vases to display your blooms. With a focus on mindfulness and creative intention, this workshop encourages students to slow down and fully immerse themselves in the creative process to create a functional and beautiful piece of art.

We’ll start with a quick rundown on the fundamentals of hand building and how each technique creates various outcomes before moving on to planning and sketching our vase designs. Once your plans are complete, it’s time to get your hands working. Spend the rest of the session bringing your ideas to life and exploring your artistic ability.

This class is suitable for beginners or those looking to increase their skills with some more advanced applications under the expert guidance of one of Melbourne’s leading ceramicists.

Your pieces will be high-fired offsite after the class and a choice of Daisy’s coloured glazes will be available to adorn your creations for their final firing.

Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class

What you'll get
  • Up to three ceramic vases made by you. (Please note that the size and complexity of your designs will determine how many you can complete in the three-hour class)
  • Expert guidance and tuition
  • All materials provided, including the firing and gazing of your pieces after the session.

Note – All clay pieces will be glazed and fired following the workshop. You will be able to pick up your pieces from Work-shop approximately 2-4 weeks later or we can have them delivered to you for an additional fee. Students will be able to choose their preferred option on the day.
