This fluid art workshop in Melbourne is the perfect activity for teens that brings some colour to their day. Also known as pouring art or acrylic pouring, this is a fun and creative form of art that is accessible chaotic in the best way.
Teens will have the opportunity to work with art at this hands-on workshop. They'll end the class with two pieces of artwork—one fluid art painting on 30x40cm back stapled wrapped canvas (or similar) and a small practice piece.
Great art projects come out of every class but the style and activities may vary! No experience is needed, this is a beginner friendly art class for every kind of creative teen out there.
Experienced teacher Julie will support participants through their vibrant journey of acrylic pouring. Julie has a current Working with Children Check, Police Check and NDIS screening check. Parents can be at ease knowing their children are in caring and qualified hands.
Please note:
  • If a participant is not able to follow instructions or needs more support than one staff to eight participants can provide, then please discuss this with Julie prior to booking.
  • Fluid art needs to lie flat to dry, so it cannot be taken home on the day. It can be picked up from the studio in one to three days’ time.

Or join an ACRYLIC PAINTING or DRAWING workshop with a skilled artist, or CHILDREN'S class with a caring team. All classes are about having fun and being creative.

Setareh Hosseini is now leading acrylic painting and other art forms at the Live For Art Studio. We are offering acrylic painting courses that paint a different style each week and plan to offer abstract classes and more.

She has extensive experience teaching adults and children to be creative through a range of art forms and loves helping people be creative. Setareh completed a Masters of Illustration in 2005 at the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Tehran, Iran. She also has a BA in graphic design and an MA in illustration.
CHILDREN'S classes are held in the school holiday's and at other time, offering a range of art and craft activities, including paper mache sculture, book making, acrylic painting, fluid art, collage and more.
