School Holiday Art and Craft Workshop for Kids

Kids will have fun and express their creativity in these crafty project based workshops

6 to 14 years     2.5 hours Class size 6 to 10 guests     $77

Looking for a creative and engaging workshop for your kids these school holidays? Join us for a fun and exciting art and craft class in Melbourne.
In this workshop, your children will learn about acrylic painting and fluid art while exploring their artistic side.
Under the guidance of experienced teacher Julie, your kids will get to:
1. Create their own acrylic painting, using a paint brush and adding marks from everyday objects on top of the painted canvas
2. Use paint markers to create patterns on a Fridge Magnet.
3. To add an extra touch of magic, each child will get to experience the fascinating world of fluid art. With no brushes required, they'll learn the technique of pouring paint to create stunning paintings. Please note that these paintings will need to lie flat to dry and can be picked up from the studio in 2-3 days' time.
At our workshop, parents and carers are welcome to stay as observers or helpers, although it's not required unless your child needs individualized support. (Please let us know if you want to stay in the checkout comments.)
If your child is not able to follow instructions or needs more support than one staff to eight children can provide, then please discuss this with Julie prior to booking.
Parents/carers may also participate with their child (and book a ticket), but only one adult per child or group of children.
You can feel at ease knowing that Julie holds the necessary qualifications and checks (Working with Children Check, Police Check and NDIS screening check) to ensure a safe and professional environment.
This workshop is not only about learning new art techniques, but it's also a chance for your child to explore their imagination, build confidence, and make new friends along the way. They will be proud of their creations.

Setareh Hosseini is now leading acrylic painting and other art forms at the Live For Art Studio. We are offering acrylic painting courses that paint a different style each week and plan to offer abstract classes and more.
Setareh is a visual artist who has exhibited internationally. As a child she was touched by her mothers art classes in a family where music and painting formed the atmosphere in the home. She has extensive experience teaching adults and children to be creative through a range of art forms and loves helping people be creative. Setareh completed a Masters of Illustration in 2005 at the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Tehran, Iran. She also has a BA in graphic design and an MA in illustration.
CHILDREN'S classes are held in the school holiday's and at other time, offering a range of art and craft activities, including paper mache sculture, book making, acrylic painting, fluid art, collage and more.
All tutors have a Working with Children's Check and experience working with children. You can be at ease knowing your child/ren are in caring, professional and qualified hands.
