Resin Clock Art Class

In this resin art class in Sydney, you’ll dive into the magical world of resin and create your very own clock masterpiece!In this workshop, you will be guided by an experienced instructor on:

• Basics of epoxy resin and resin safety
• How to disassemble a clock
• How to prep with painter's tape or liquid latex
• How to mix, colour, and pour resin onto your clock
• How to add and colour sand
• Tips and tricks to create celling and lacing

Your instructor will do a hands-on demonstration of how to create an ocean/beach theme (our signature look), and we will share the secrets to creating stunning cells and foams, guided by experienced instructors every step of the way.We will also show you how to create a geode or design so you can decide on a clock that suits your taste and style. In this class, we have additional embellishments such as sand, shells, glitter, gold, and silver foils so you can bring your artistic vision to life.The resin we use is Art Resin, which is the highest quality, non-toxic, no VOC, no BPA.An array of colours will be available for you to choose from on the day.This class is suited to those aged 16 and above (under 16's need to be accompanied by a paying adult and discussed with the teacher prior to class) and not suitable if you are pregnant.No experience is necessary, all levels welcome. This is a beginner-friendly resin workshop but also a perfect follow-up class for those that had attended our previous Resin Art cheeseboard and coasters classes and want to create more with resin.You’ll leave feeling inspired and accomplished, taking home your uniquely designed resin clock that reflects your personal style.   One good quality 30cm clockA wide variety of resin pigments/acrylic paint, gold flakes and glitter are available.Two-part Epoxy Resin (Art Resin brand).

• Mixing cups.

No requirements - everything you need is provided for.You are welcome to bring your drink of choice and nibbles.
