Our course is designed to be both informative and enjoyable, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative expression.
Throughout the course, we will cover a variety of pottery techniques, including hand-building (pinchpot, coiling, slab-building) and simple wheel-throwing.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced potter, we guide you through the process, helping you to refine your skills and develop your own unique style.
In addition to creating your own pieces, we also delve into the art of glazing, learning how to apply colour and texture to your pottery. With a wide range of glazes to choose from, you have the opportunity to experiment and create truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
By joining this class, you will share the art room with beginners and advanced students. Those who are beginners will be guided by our experienced tutor in every step until you feel confident enough to work on your own projects.
Please Note
  • Clay is available for purchase from our pottery tutor ($25/$40).
  • If you intend to make larger sculptural pieces, you may be required to purchase your own glaze.
