What you'll do

Ever wanted to try something new like painting; Want to take on a new painting project, yet daunted by it; Don't have room at home, or you're struggling with inspiration or where to even start? Then these workshops are for you.

Each Saturday morning for 3 hours you can loose yourself as self exploration and expression are released. Experienced or no experience this workshop is for you, as guidance and instruction is personalised, Work on a larger piece over a series of weeks or smaller piece as a one off.Learn and refine techniques as you experience creativity in a new or maybe old way! Create your very own unique pieces, based on your subject matter and style.

Wave Art hosts small groups so that you can receive personalised guidance, advice or instruction from resident artist and teacher Ali Greene. You will be encouraged to discover through play and self exploration and expression using Acrylic or Watercolour Mediums.

We believe in what Pablo Picasso said - "Every Child is an Artist - the trouble is staying one when we grow up!" As a teacher with over 35 yrs experience, Ali will help you rediscover your inner artist. Ali believes in allowing the process of creating to help promote wellbeing - "Art is the Therapy"

Wave Art -is an Art Studio; Art Therapy; and an Art Gallery.

Our new fresh Art studio located in Crows Nest, you can choose a ‘paint pARTy’ or ‘Create and Meditate' session for kids and!or adults. Our fun, therapeutic mindful art experiences are catered to the specific individuals, groups, age appropriate and the interests of participants. You’re not a number here; but a unique individual where we will provide a unique personalised experience. It’s your painting so you choose what to paint,. We help with prompts through our meditate side of the experience, then as you emerge yourself you experience first hand the healing and relaxing benefits of exploring Art mindfully.

We provide a variety of visual art mediums, eg, watercolour and acrylic painting, or pastels.

We believe that art is therapy and will assist providing an experience where your creation of calm is not just on paper. Your discovery of 'being in the moment' in a tranquil setting, has begun.
