Your teacher, Anna Pontikis, will show you her fun and unique way to create a mixed media masterpiece using collage techniques.
In this class, you will be guided through the step-by-step process of layering paper and paint. The kit will provide all different papers for you to use, and she will also show you how to paint your own collage papers.
Then you will be shown how to put it all together to make a fabulous and fun floral on canvas.

What you'll need
If you do not purchase the box, you will need:
  • A canvas or paper to work on
  • Assorted acrylic paint colours
  • Brushes, a couple of different sizes
  • White paper (not too thick, art journal thickness is fine, not good quality watercolour paper), printed paper, and any other ephemera you would like to collage with
  • Tissue paper or napkins with designs you want to use
  • Paint markers or pens to doodle with
  • Jar of water and some paper towel
  • Hairdryer or heat gun to dry the paint in between layers
  • Paint palette

Hi my name is Anna!
I am an artist and energy healing practitioner.
I have been painting for several years and am self taught with the help of many online and in person classes. I love colour and texture and bright expressive paintings. I have a passion for painting flowers and abstracts. I also don't like rules when it comes to art I think we have enough rules already and creativity is where the Inner Child gets to go on a journey of fun and exploration.
I am also an energy healing practitioner working with clients one on one to clear resistance to change and healing using several energy healing modalities that I have studied over the years similar to kinesiology.
Creativity is a catalyst to healing and opens the energy body up to having more vitality and be more free flowing which then leads to change in all other areas. It is also the way to harness your intuition more as when you are engaged in a creative practice the ego (overthinker) gets bored and tunes out and intuition can flow.
I love to bring my two loves together, creativity and healing and will do that in each workshop whilst making the workshops fun and spontaneous.
I would love you to come join me as I take a leap of faith to share and teach art my way.
