Friendly terrarium expert Tanya will guide participants step by step to building their own open terrarium. Tanya will explain the layering method, plants used and care tips. 
All equipment will be provided to create an amazing themed terrarium plant arrangement.
Participants will get to use terrarium tools, gravel, sand, pebbles and shells to decorate their terrarium. Add a dinosaur, fairy, mermaid, Australian animal figurine or other cute mini figurines to your finished terrarium and take it home to admire!

Tanya has been making closed terrariums since 2017 and open arrangements for over ten years. Tanya has always enjoyed gardening. Having fallen in love with terrariums when she was a young girl when she would regularly see them at her relative's home. Tanya started making terrariums as a mindfulness practice after leaving a very stressful career. Tanya loves all the therapeutic benefits and sharing her knowledge with others. Tanya has moved to Karratha in March 2024 and will do quarterly Terrarium Workshops in Perth.
