Dive into the world of modern papier-mâché and paper clay.

Looking for a weekend activity that’s sustainable and stylish? Transform everyday materials into exquisite art pieces and bespoke homewares in this three-hour paper clay workshop.

Discover the magic behind papier-mâché as we start with the basics, guiding you through its intriguing process. Learn the recipe behind a versatile paper clay, and let your imagination run wild as you design one-of-a-kind, bespoke pieces. With a treasure trove of recyclable materials at your fingertips, including cardboard, single-use plastics, and glass bottles, you’ll be crafting eco-friendly masterpieces in no time.

A few things to note:

  • Craft & Carry: Design as many pieces as your heart desires during the session. And while paper clay is enchanting, patience is key. Your creations will need a brief 3-day stay at our venue to fully dry. Once dried, you’ll be able to collect your pieces and add paint and decorative touches at home.
  • Trending & Trailblazing: Not only is paper clay an up-and-coming star in the art world, but it’s also a craft champion for home enthusiasts. Its ease of use and affordability make it a rising favourite compared to traditional ceramics.
  • Eco-Artistry: Beyond the sheer fun of molding and creating, there’s a sense of pride in upcycling materials that might otherwise be discarded. Embrace this unique medium that marries artistry with sustainability.

Join us for an afternoon of playful creativity, innovative designs, and an introduction to one of the art world’s up-and-coming mediums. Transform everyday materials into tomorrow’s art.

Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.
