Mishko is a International visual art teacher and Sydney based artist.
Born in Skopje , Republic of Macedonia.
He live and work for more than 25 years in Sydney and the last 5 years between Sydney - Malaysia - Sydney .
From a high school age he was studied at the selective art school in Skopje for 5 years.
After finishing art school, continuing to study at the Academy of fine art in Skopje for another 5 years, majoring in Painting and minor in graphic design.
1986 he migrate to Sydney with his young family.
In Sydney Mishko was fully engaging in art circles by participating at the numbers of local exhibition and continuing studding and practicing art .
In 1997 he complete his Master of art degree at the UNSW-COFA (College of Fine Art) Australia.
As he was practicing art and tutoring art at Waverley Woollahra Arts Centre, Sydney, NSW| called Bondi road Art school, where he was tutoring for 10 years art classes for children and young adults.
Through that work the idea come to Mishko to formalize his teaching qualification.
In 2005 He earn a degree in Bachelor of Art Education at the UNSW-COFA( College of Fine Art) | School of Art Education| Australia , Sydney.
Since then until the present time Mishko teach visual art within the different public school in Sydney.
2009, He decide to move his teaching career internationally and his first teaching post was in Jordan, Amman , after one year teaching in Jordan Mishko move to Malaysia until 2014.
Currently he is in Sydney teaching and practicing art.
The foundation of his practice is based on contemporary art considering variety of discipline and styles, such as:
Abstract expressionism , Surrealism , Cubism , Impressionism etc , as well taking note of a modern and post - modern preoccupation as a thoughts in his thinking processes.
The spontaneity and the formalism of abstract expressionism, the dream - imaginative approach of surrealism, the structural thinking of Cubism and the powerful colors of impressionism it enables him to express and interpret his complex idea of association in his work.
In reference to his teaching , Mishko is very supportive to his students by letting them to discover their own creative potential, stimulates student confidence in their art making, and provide platform for student evaluative reflection on their own work and the work of others.
Art history and art criticism is a underpinning component to each of his courses /workshop, however Mishko teach a basic art theory and aesthetics, as a separate course on its own right where art history and art criticism are studied in more details and dept.
He has exhibited as a solo artist as well Mishko has taken part in group exhibitions in Sydney and internationally.
